I am amazed daily at how wonderful Brian is. I really don't know what dark secret he has in the past that was punishable by a life with me but I'm so glad he's mine. For several weeks he told me not to make plans for feb 9th. I LOVE surprises so he could have just given me a cupcake and the I would have been giddy but no, he surprised me with dinner at our favorite resaurant and OPERA TICKETS!!! I went to the Opera all the time when I was going to school in Vienna and I really love it so it was the perfect romantic Valentine's surprise. It was so fun going up to Portland and having a romantic night on the town!
We LOVE the Cheesecake Factory. Mostly because of Adam's Peanut Butter Fudge Ripple cheesecake. We affectionately call it "the Ripple". You can't eat more than about one a year (which we always split) because it is so rich but it's heaven!
This is maybe the worst picture of us ever but it's the only one we got inside the opera house. We were 2 of maybe 5 people under 65 there. There were all these cute older gentlemen in tuxes with hat's it was adorable! I loved it and Brian says he liked it too. I can't wait to someday take him to an Opera in Europe! Do I have the best man or what!?
