A Day at the Beach

Yesterday Brian and I went to the coast!
It's such a short and pretty drive and the coast is so gorgeous.
We packed our lunch, our beach gear, and our kite and we were on our way!

It was a great day for flying kites. I had it up so high you can't even see it in this picture that was taken pretty far away!

Brian did some high flying and then he wanted to try some trick flying. It doesn't work if the kite is way up high so he brought it in close.....way close! He perfected the nose dive into the sand move and I think he did get one barrel roll in there too.

We tried to play Frisbee but one dive in the sand was enough for Brian. At this point it was pretty windy and the Frisbee was shooting all over the place uncontrollably. You had to dive to get it and each dive meant a lot of sand in places you don't want it!

By the end of the day it was very windy. Brian was laughing pretty hard at me but when I was bundled up in the blanket it still felt like a very pleasant day since the sun was still shining! It was a much needed relaxing day.
