Evening Walk Gone Bad

It rained on and off yesterday but in the evening the sun came out and the conditions were just right for a lovely evening stroll. We headed off and were enjoying the last of the beautiful spring blossoms as we walked hand in hand and talked. It was a fantastic walk as walks go until....there was a rustle in the tree above us and *something* fell from the branches. I didn't know what happened at first but Brian knew instantly. A little birdie had dropped a little present for us! I started laughing because Brian had it in his hair. He looked at me and said "I wouldn't laugh you've got it on your FACE!" GROSS!!! How did I not feel it hit my nose? Upon closer inspection we found we each had it on our shoulders at well and Brian had a tiny speck on his cheek. We laughed a little, were a little grossed out, and decided to head home since our walk was effectively ruined for the evening. As we were walking Brian asked "Do birds just sit and wait and then aim for people?" I know it sounds a little far fetched but to be able to get both of us with such stunning accuracy he MUST have! The sun is out and the weather is gorgeous right now, perfect for a Sunday afternoon stroll. Do you think we'll go? I think so but maybe we'll take our umbrella this time!
