Daddy holding Van in the nursery. We spent A LOT of time in here with him the first three days before we signed papers. We got to know the nurses really well and they were all so supportive and helpful.

Van was under nursery arrest! This little ankle bracelet locked all the doors and elevators of the hospital as we wheeled him down the hallway. The hospital where he was born was only a few years old and was very nice. I guess that comes with a state of the art security system. I'll admit it was a bit of a power trip to walk down the hall with him and hear all the doors lock!

Oh and on an unrelated note, no he doesn't have red hair. It's light brown. Our camera isn't exactly new and the color is a little off.

Oh my gosh he is adorable. I love the pics! Keep them coming, they'll have to do until I can come see him in person. The family picture is super cute and I love when Brian is playing with him.
What proud parents! And what a beautiful little guy! Keep taking tons of pictures, he will change so much from these early days. I love looking back at my kids when they were little babies.
Did you know that when you go private the indicator that shows when people have updated their blogs doesn't work? My sister-in-law had to email us reminders that she updated her blog because the last blog before she went private stayed as the most current blog (I hope that makes sense). I think you might have to email people and let them know that you have updated and that it doesn't indicate that anymore. Sorry if you already knew this and I'm being redundant:)

So cute...it is funny because when I called Brian a week ago I asked him if Van had red hair!!! He told me no it may just be the camera.
