Family Outing

On Friday we had our first real all day family outing and we had so much fun!! Van was such a good little baby and even though he slept through most of the day I think he really loved the parts he was consious for. We started out by putting out Zoo pass to good use. It wasn't too crowded and all the animals were out so it was a good Zoo day. Not to long after we arrived it was time for Van's lunch. We think he's pretty cute when he eats so we took a hundred pictures of his lunch at the Zoo. I've been nice and only included three here...

We had to get a picture of Van with this cool wolf. Notive the plaque is all about the Leader of the Pack, Van is the leader of the pack since he'll be the big brother

This picture is not the cutest of Van but we had to show his Zoo appropriate outfit. There were all the Zoo animals on his shorts too!


After the Zoo we drove out to the lake where Brian ran a 10k last year and it was fun! We started out in a picnic area


Of course Van had to take the "picnic" part of it literally


After reading and enjoying that area a bit we moved to a more park like area where there was grass for Van and I to hang out on.


He LOVED being outside!





While Van and I were hanging out Brian wandered off to try his had at fishing


Unfortunatley the only thing that was biting that day were the mosquitos!!
