Drift Creek Falls

Our friends the Sadlers recently did this hike and it seemed like the perfect little hike for us to do with a baby. It's only 3 miles round trip and doesn't have much of an elevation change plus it has an awesome suspension bridge and a beautiful waterfall at the end!
Here we are at toward the beginning of the hike before we got to sweaty. Pay no attention to Van's attitude, he really loves being outside and enjoyed the hike. He just doesn't cooperate for pictures!

We had to stop a couple of times for spitties and Brian decided it needed to be documented.

The falls from below with the bridge in the background

Pictures from the base of the falls

Van was very happy to have a break from his carrier
Despite what his face says he really does love his mommy

On the way back he was pretty tired

At one point he ditched the binky for his thumb, cute!

Yes, he is in the trunk in this picture. It's the only flat surface in our car where he can stretch out and he was super happy to have a chance to kick and stretch after the hike.

Fun!!! I think I might be with Jared on this one...that bridge might be difficult for me to go across. Van is so cute and chubby. I've definitely used the trunk for changing diapers. :)

I love all of the pictures and the family fun! I finally have a computer again so I get to catch up on blogs! We are in Seattle and would love to get together sometime. We need to make a plan! Van is adorable!

Okay, I just have to say that you are much better photographers than we are! (Or maybe I can blame it on being distracted by chasing after Q? probably not...)

Now we just need to do a hike together!
