Luau

Last Saturday we went to a ward luau! We dressed Van up in a couple of cute summer clothes that fit him now and will most likely not fit him when it's actually summer. That works for a luau right?

Here he is in all his cuteness!! Believe it or not this was the best picture we got, this is his classic "camera face". (oh and don't worry, that chocking/strangulation hazard around his neck was only on for picture purposes)

The flip flops were a gift from Robin, she saw them, they were a great deal, they didn't fit her boys, so she bought them for Van! What a good friend! He has worn them a few times before but they were always falling off his feet, now they fit. The shorts were a gift from Brian's cousin Michelle (you have awesome taste Michelle!) and I am SOOO bummed they fit him now, I was really looking forward to him wearing them in the spring. They are 12 month size! They ARE a little long so I'm hoping that as Van gets more active he will stop growing out and just grow up so they might possibly still fit in the spring.

Of course Quentin and Kendra had to hold "baby Van", love the faces in this one Kendra and Van!

Since the luau started at 6:30 a baby with a 7:00 bedtime didn't last too long. His "almost aunt" Jennis was nice enough to rock him to sleep.
We had fun and the food and performances were good but unfortunately over 30 families that were at the luau came away with a nasty nasty stomach virus! Thankfully we did not. Feel better ward family!!
