On November 12th Van's adoption was finalized! We were expecting a court date sometime in December but our lawyer called last week and asked how "next Thursday" would work for us. YEAH!! It feels wonderful to have the law officially recognize what we have felt in our hearts since the day we held him in our arms.
Here is where the magic happened, courtroom 1A.
