At 7 1/2 months Van we gave Van his first haircut!! I really didn't want to do it and I kept putting it off, it seems like such a big boy thing to do! However, as seen in the picture below....
his hair was getting out of control on top. Right after his bath it would look pretty good but inevitably after every nap and every morning he had crazy bed head. The problem was mostly that hair on crown was longer than the hair in front. It had also gotten to long to "do" which meant he was just going around with ridiculous hair all the time.

I tried to use the clippers with the longest attachment but since his hair is so baby fine it didn't really pick up the hair so I had to use the scissors. I have to say, Van did way better than I thought he would. I gave him a toy and took it slow and we finished with all ears still attached!
