Van got his very first birthday present in the mail a little while ago from his Uncle Jon and Aunt Amy! He was very excited. I called Amy to see if he was allowed to open it or if he was supposed to wait for his birthday and by the time I got done leaving a message for her to call me he had already decided he was not going to wait and tore it a little.
Being the dorky first time mom that I am I had to document his every move opening this first birthday present ever!

He knew just what to do, his skills have miraculously improved since Christmas.

Don't worry, he wore the outfit earlier this week and looked SO cute in it! Rumor has it that Uncle Jon has some shorts that match these and Van is counting the days until he can be twinners with his cool Uncle Jon this summer. Thanks Uncle Jon and Aunt Amy for the sweet clothes!
