Pretty much since we brought Van home people have told us they think he looks like Brian. We don't see it. I think mostly because we know Van's birthparents and biological siblings and no one else does. We think he looks like them. A LOT like them. He looks SO much like his biological brother and they both resemble Van's birthfather. Seeing the resemblance between Van and his birth family has always overshadowed any possible similarities between Brian and Van for us. Also, it's hard to compare a babies face with an adults face sometimes. I wish I could post pictures of his birthfamily on here for you to see.... maybe someday. In the meantime I decided to post some current pictures of Van along side some baby pictures of Brian for you to compare. I have to admit after looking at these pictures side by side I can see how people can find a resemblance, although I still maintain it's a stretch. What do you think?
**For the record we love that Van looks like his birth parents and not us. They are incredible people and we love that they are a part of who he is. Plus, I still say that we could not have made a baby as cute as Van! :)**

Honestly, I've always thought the same thing... He's too cute to look like you two :) I'm laughing really loud, but I don't like to write "LOL" because I feel stupid when I write stuff like that.

I think Van and Brian have very similar eyes.
