Last week Van and I flew to Idaho to spend some time with the fam. My sister Amy informed me a few weeks earlier that her and her baby boy Carson would be in McCall for a couple of weeks and we simply couldn't pass up the opportunity to see them. They live in Virginia so our chances to see them are few and far between.
Brian dropped us off at the airport SEVERAL hours early, on his way to work, so we had lots of time to kill. I brought lots of little activities and snacks to occupy the little guy and he was fantastic on both flights! Everyone kept commenting on how cute/good he was. That's the kind of traveling with a toddler I like!
He was very cute in the airport. He loved this little table.
Post it notes kept him busy for a while.

He loved watching the planes and kept counting them as they came and went. "WWWWWon......two.....FWEEE!!!"
I tried to get a picture of the two of us on the plane but he was less than cooperative as you can see.
Amy, Carson and Tyler were there to greet us at the airport and we spent a fun day at the zoo in Boise before heading up the canyon to McCall. Van loved all the animals of course and would run between the exhibits. He quickly latched on to Tyler and wanted to play with him all week.
We had a blast hanging out with every one. Van may have gotten a little too comfortable. He kept ordering people to play with him! Enjoy the next gazillion pictures!
When we got off of the plane in Portland our stroller wasn't waiting for us on the jet way like it was supposed to be. While we were waiting for them to retrieve it Van got to visit the cockpit!!! He LOVED it! There were tons of buttons and the pilots were nice enough to point out the ones that beeped. He didn't want to leave!
