Mr. Independent

Van has become very independent lately. He loves doing anything for himself. Multiple times a day I hear him scurry into the bathroom, climb up on his stool, and turn on the water. This means one of two things. # 1 is washing his hands. This has become less frequent since I hid the soap since the messes were getting a bit out of hand;) #2 is brushing his teeth. This is very exciting since brushing his teeth has been a bit of a battle up until now. It's still hard to get him to let me have a turn but it's getting better every day.
Doesn't he look like such a big boy? He has seemed SO grown up lately!
