The Santa That Wasn't

Last Saturday Santa was supposed to be coming to our local AAA baseball stadium by helicopter. We decided to go since Van LOVES helicopters and airplanes. He was so excited! We got there a little early to get a good spot and we waited and waited and waited. Apparently the helicopter got fogged in! Seems fishy since there was NO fog that day, there weren't even any clouds! Hmmm. After a LONG wait and an announcement that Santa would be coming very late and by ground transportation we gave up and went to get a treat instead. It was SO sad telling Van we weren't going to see a helicopter after all. He took it pretty well when we promised him we would try to see Santa next weekend at the carousel. We took a few pictures so the morning wasn't a total bust.
