Riverfront Park

We have a lot of great parks in our little city which makes it easy to have great spontaneous family fun days.  We've been having a lot of those lately and it's been great.  Last Friday we decided head to Riverfront Park.  It's a really big park with lots of things to do including a carousal, splash park, and a great walking bridge over the river.

 In the middle of the bridge we stumbled across this piano!  So random but so fun!  It's hard to see in these pictures but we are really high above the water on an overhang.  It created a pretty cool atmosphere.

 Some very talented musicians came along after us and you could hear it from the shore.  It was pretty cool.

 Towards the end of our day at the park the little guy lost some steam and charmed us into giving him a lift;)

Can you tell we are REALLY enjoying our family time this summer?  We are seriously in heaven having Brian home all day every day.
