Tumalo State Park Part 3

The next morning we fueled up with a yummy breakfast and got ready for another hike.

This is the very beginning of the hike.  That's Tumalo falls behind them.

The first portion of the hike takes you right up to the top of the falls where the view was incredible!

We stopped for a lunch break by the river.

After many attempts at a family picture this was the best we could come up with.  Van thinks that face is funny.  I have to admit it makes me laugh every time!

We ended up hiking about 4 miles round trip.  It's been an adjustment to have Van actually hiking with us instead of in the backpack.  We probably would have gone twice as far if we didn't have him walking.  It was still really fun and really beautiful though.  It's definitely an area we will go back to again.
