I am really loving Van at this age. Yes, three comes with it's challenges but really he is very sweet and so much fun. He spends all day every day in his own little imaginary world and it's awesome! His friend Annika spent an entire day with us last week (her mom had jury duty) and it was so fun to see what pretend scenarios they came up with.
One was an outdoor cooking/grilling situation.
They came up with several other scenarios but my favorite by far was when the played "adoption". I didn't get a lot of pictures but they started out with suitcases and they flew to get their babies. Then they asked me to get them bottles so they could feed them and burp them. Annika was also adopted and she and Van both have new babies in their family through adoption. I love that they have that shared experience and that to them you have to get on a plane to get a new baby:)
