When I went to Nevada I left Van with Brian and it was the first time I had been away from him. I missed him! After I got back I asked Van if he would go on a date with me so we could have some one on one time. He said yes and talked about it every day until Saturday(the day of our date). We got bundled up and headed to the local discovery house to play. Can you tell we are a little excited:)
We had So. Much. Fun. It's been a while since me and my boy just played and played just the two of us.
I have to brag on my boy a little bit. He did this all by himself. He started with just he pictures and then matched up the starting letters AND the words all by himself. He really is a smarty, he's going to be reading in no time!
After we played we went and picked up Brian and Brielle, went to lunch, and spent the rest of the day as a family. It was so nice to have time with my little Brian Van. He is one fun little boy!
