Timanogos Cave

Our first weekend in Utah we drove up American Fork Canyon and I pointed out Timpanogos Cave to Van as we drove by.  He has been asking to go to the cave literally every day since then.  We finally made it last weekend and it's a good thing we did because it closed for the season the very next day.  It's a short 1.5 mile hike up to the cave but it is pretty much straight up so it was a bit of a workout carrying little miss on my back:)

You can't take hiking backpacks into the caves so we had to finish the last bit of the hike without it and Brielle loved her new ride:)

????

We had a few minutes to wait for our tour to start once we reached the top.

Van was SO excited to go into the cave.  He brought his own flashlight and everything.

While we were waiting for our group to gather we were waiting in the dim entrance to the cave.  A couple of teenage boys started to pretend that they were monsters to scare each other.  Brielle started doing it too and it was HILARIOUS!!!  She was growling and making scary hands trying to scare Van.  Brian and I could not stop laughing!!!

Van was such a good boy on the tour.  He was right behind the guide the whole way and asked lots of questions.  Several times he started jumping up and down with glee and exclaimed "I love this cave!"
