Since we live so close to American Fork canyon, which contains the "Alpine Loop" we have really been looking forward to Fall. We drove this loop eight years ago when we were dating and we couldn't wait to drive it again. I found a good hike for our little family along the way so we headed out last weekend. The drive was gorgeous!
The drive was great but the hike was even better. It was a four mile hike (2 in to the falls, 2 out) which we have found is about the limit for the little guy. It had snowed in the mountains the night before and Van was SO excited. He kept making snowballs and throwing them at Brian's face!! It was so funny!
The fall colors were in full force and it was so awesome. There were several aspen groves along the way.

This may have been our last hike for the season unless we head south so I'm glad we got to enjoy such a gorgeous Fall day.
