Ice Ice Baby

We had all five days of school off this week and the weather just continues to get worse. Last night we had freezing rain. It's an absolutely beautiful but deadly phenomenon. It's causing a lot of problems as it downs trees and causes power outages, accidents, and road closures. We were supposed to be traveling for Christmas yesterday but the weather made us turn back. Looks like we may be spending Christmas at home this year unless the sun miraculously comes out! Here are some pictures Brian took today of the ice. Enlarge the pictures to get a good look.
