Water Heater

Today felt like Christmas morning around our house. We got a new water heater!! Thank goodness for home warranties. When we bought the house the water heater was all crusty from previous leaks but it passed inspection so unless we wanted to pay for it ourselves it had to stay. We have just be hoping it would bite the dust before our warrenty expired. Like a good little water heater it was happy to oblige! While we were out of town! We got home from California at about 2 in the morning and were welcomed by a small river flowing out of our garage. Well it was maybe more like a little creek but there was a lot of water none the less. I know it's not the usual reaction but we were actually excited to discover this since it meant we could get a new one under warranty! We were really lucky that we caught it before it burst. We called first thing this morning and they had the new one installed and ready to go by 11:30. Only 30 more minutes and I'll be in a warm shower! Isn't it pretty?
