On an unrelated note, we woke up yesterday to THIS!!!!
It's been nice and sunny for like 6 weeks now with only the occasional little rain storm. Buds are starting on the trees and all of a sudden SNOW!! Crazy!

Father's Weekend
Last weekend seemed to be "the" weekend for father's to visit. Brian's dad went to Utah and got to see Brian's brother Jason and his family and my dad got to come to Oregon and see us! He had a technology conference in Portland so of course he wanted to spend his spare time with his favorite son in law and his wife(that would be me). He even got to spend two nights with us while he was here. We ate good food, drove him around the area, and of course talked until we couldn't stay awake anymore (about 9:30!!). We wish mom could have come too but it was good to see him. We are so excited for them to come visit us again this summer so we can take advantage of the awesome things Oregon summers have to offer. Thanks for coming dad we love you!!!

Ralph! Do you remember when I jumped out of your dad's truck with my seat belt still on?
I miss you!!! I was just thinking of you and I hope we see each other soon. Your dad's visit just reminded me of all the good times we used to have your family's house...I loved going there. It was like a second home. :)
