Van's fever didn't get any better so we took him back to the doctor today. Turns out he has a double ear infection. It just wasn't visible yet when we took him in on Tuesday. We were very relieved to hear this since it means that there is a reason for his high fever and now we have medicine to fix it. Hopefully this means the end of our 2 week quarantine and the beginning of something more interesting to blog about!
This is how we knew he was REALLY not feeling well. Yesterday I had to wake him up from his 1st nap after 3 hours (he usually sleeps about 2). I fed him a bottle and put him down to play only to find him like this, dead asleep 5 minutes later. If you can't tell he's kneeling and leaning on a lump of couch pillow and blanket. Adorable but sad, can't wait to have my happy little guy back...antibiotics do your magic!

So sad! But I'm glad you found out why he wasn't feeling well. It's always a relief. Love the pic of him asleep.
poor little guy! I have a very similar picture of Carter when he was about that age and had a double ear infection. He fell right asleep on the couch pillow, just like his best friend Van. Hurry up and get better so we can come see you! (we'll work on getting better, too)
