Still Sick But Getting Better...We Hope!

It's been two weeks now that we have been sick here at the Storrs home and it is getting old! Van seemed to be on the mend from the Bronchiolitis last weekend (Brian and I were still pretty sick though) but spiked a fever of 103 Sunday morning. He hadn't had a fever at all yet so we were a little perplexed. His only other symptom at that point was a runny nose. We went to the doctor yesterday where I got a prescription for the nasty sinus infection I have developed and Van got checked out. The doctor said his ears are fine and his lungs are perfectly clear. That is very good news since that means that his Bronchiolitis is indeed gone! However, Van still has a fever and a runny nose. The fever does respond to Tylenol and when he's taken it he's almost himself. But then it wears off and he gets what I call the "fever shakes" and it's SO SAD!! I know exactly how he feels and it's miserable. Hopefully his fever will break soon, my sinus infection will clear up, and Brian's cold will run it's course (yeah, he's still not feeling all better yet either) so we won't have to go back to the doctor and we can start living life again! We are optimistic that we are at the tail end since we all do seem to be feeling a bit better.
