New Tricks

These days it seems like Van is learning new tricks every time we turn around! These two I'm sure only Brian and I will appreciate since we of course are so impressed by everything our little baby does. (can I even call him our "little" baby anymore?)

Look what I found mom!

My mom always used to say "that button will only work a certain number of times before it breaks and you just wasted some" whenever we did something silly like lock and unlock the car door over and over again. I can't help but think of that as Van pushes the dryer light button over and over and over again. It's a push well wasted though since he's so darn cute when he does it! Every time he hears me open the dryer he comes zooming from the other room to take up his post!



A real page turner.....

Van loves to read books. He's been helping turn the pages as we read to him since about 6 months and has been able to sit by himself and "read" a book for a couple of months now. However, it has been a recent development that he wants to make sure he doesn't miss any pages. I finally was able to catch him on video with his new skill. I love how he uses his little thumbs to make sure he only turns one page and how he looks at every picture. So cute!
