July was a very busy month for us with visitors, school, and travels but we did have a little time to just hang around the house. Van's personality is really starting to come out more and more and it's getting to be more and more fun to just sit back and watch him play.
He loves to play hide and seek these days but he doesn't quite get that he needs to cover his WHOLE body. I often find him with his little legs sticking out from under a pillow or blanket while he giggles, delighted with himself, while he waits for me to find him.
He has cut 7 new teeth in the last 7 weeks so we have had more of this face lately than we are used to. Doesn't he have the cutest little tantrum face?
He has always liked forts and tunnels so I was not surprised to find that he had made this little cave for himself one day.

Thankfully, this is the face we see most of the time. Even with teething, travel, and visitors he's remained our happy, easy, little boy. Life with this kid is the best!
