Van is living the good life recently. His days are filled with playing, eating, sleeping, being loved on by his parents, and just generally doing whatever makes him happiest. To help me remember this stage in his life I have documented a typical recent day for you.
He began with a delicious breakfast that included (among many other things) blueberries, a favorite. He also got to stir his water and feed himself, both also favorites.
After getting dressed for the day we headed out to enjoy the beautiful fall weather on a walk to the park.
We happened to be the only people at our awesome neighborhood park so Van got to explore without being hindered by other tots.
His latest way to enjoy the slide is by going down on his stomach like this. He slows himself down with his hands and thinks it's hilarious. (He takes forever going up the ladder because he was preoccupied by the leaves)

He's transferred the skill to this .....uh, let's just call it a nonslide.
After the park it was home for lunch and a nice long afternoon nap to rejuvenate for an evening of playing with dad.
These days Van likes to do everything we do so playing with dad often includes scenes like this. Little copy cat!
After dinner and bath time another round of playtime ensued where all three of us ended up laughing and squealing in delight. 
On this particular day, as on any day, there were a million moments not captured on film that brought pure joy into our lives.

What a life! I think it's so cute that he loves to copy Mom and Dad now! The computer shot is priceless.
He is SO cute! And the videos of him on the play ground? Precious. What a cutie!
