These days Van is really fun to hang out with. He has grown up SO much in the past two months. You know how cumbersome(read: obnoxious) it can be to shop with a toddler? Well Van has entered a new stage where that is no longer the case. He listens, he stays right by me, and he picks things out to show me and asks "you like this mommy?" Adorable. One day this past week Brian had to stay really late at work so I planned a fun filled day for me and my favorite little man. Since he is such a good boy shopping was one of the activities. It ended up being his favorite stop of the day. At Old Navy they have a little video game type thing that projects onto the floor and you can move the graphics with your hands or feet. I've seen it before but there's always 25 kids fighting for space. Apparently 10:45 on Thursday is a good time to go because Van and I had it all to ourselves. We just played and played. He is still talking about how he kicked the balls and the butterflies. We also played a pretty intense game of air hockey, I'm pretty sure I won. We must have played on that thing for at least 15 min. Hanging out with this kid is the best! I think I know where we'll be going on rainy mornings this winter...
