We had so much fun going to a local farm's Harvestfest last year that we decided to go again this year. We had a blast! For those of you who are long time readers of our blog, you may remember the post I did about it last year as well as the fact that Van didn't crack a single smile for the camera. This year we got a couple of smiling pictures so I hope it's worth reading even though it's very similar to last year's!
Van's favorite part once again was the petting zoo. He loves animals and any time we see ANY kind of furry living thing, from squirrels to cats to deer, he immediately says "hi ____(whatever the animal is)!" then turns to me and says "Mommy, I want to pet him!" Usually petting isn't an option so as you can imagine a petting zoo is a perfect place for this little boy.

He didn't exactly follow the rules when it came to the bull ring toss. He just ran up and put it on the horn rather then tossing it.
...and we found a huge haystack in the corn maze so we climbed to the top and we could see the entire maze, the tee pee, and a huge slide that we later went to find.
We got to take a little hayride around the orchards. *Notice he still has his corn. He soon found a very good use for it.....
