Van's birthday fell on a Sunday this year so we decided to celebrate the day before. Basically that means he got 2 birthdays;) I woke up the night before the big day with the stomach flu. Boo! We decided to celebrate anyway and I just witnessed most of it from the couch. Van still had an amazing day and that's the important thing!
He was very excited to find the living room full of balloons and there was definitely some frolicking;)
For his birthday breakfast he got to go with daddy and pick out his very own doughnut. Mmmmmm.
Then came present time. The one thing he asked for was marbles (some friends that babysit him occasionally have a cool marble set that he LOVES to play with) so it was no surprise that this was his favorite present....
Van and his daddy played with this for a good 2 1/2 hours while I rested on the couch. It was so fun to watch, no really it was!
He also enjoyed his bubble gun.
Of course his cake was a big hit too!
I wonder what he wished for. Probably that he wouldn't have to share his cake;)
