$11.98 Of Fun

When we were deciding on what to get Van for his birthday we knew we wanted to get him some kind of outdoor water toy.  We looked at all kinds of different water tables and blow up toys that ranged in price from $50.00 - $150.00.  They all looked really fun and it was hard to decide.  Then I had a stroke of genius.  I remembered how much fun Van had playing in a cheapo baby pool at a friends house last summer.  We decided we would start there, if he liked it great, if he thought it was lame we'd upgrade to something fancier.  Well, $11.98 later our little man is in HEAVEN!  I set it up during his nap one day and it took him 4 seconds to find it out on the deck when he woke up.  He got so excited and sweetly asked "mommy? can I get IN there?"  Of course!  He's spent hours a day in there every day that the weather has allowed.  Thanks to our fenced in yard I usually choose to take the super classy route and allow him to play in his underwear(why is that SO much more fun for him than his swim trunks? ).
  I love summer! Almost as much as I love this sweet little face......
