Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving we made the LONG drive to McCall, ID to celebrate with my family.  It was well worth the drive, we had SO MUCH FUN!
Both kids were spoiled by Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Kyle.  They were never without a playmate:)

One of my favorite things about our trip was playing in the snow.  I LOVE the snow and I really miss having it around the holidays.  Van was also a huge fan of the snow.

Kyle's girlfriend Lindsey has a little boy, David, that is Van's age.  It was so fun for him to have a playmate.

Just a little Thanksgiving fun.... Daddy style

After our delicious dinner (I should have taken pictures) the little boys wanted to go sledding.  I knew Van would like playing in the snow but I thought our cautious little guy might be a little slow to warm up to zooming down a hill on a sled.  I was wrong.   Kyle and Brian put the sled down, he hopped on, they pushed him down, and he was hooked.  He must have gone up and down that hill 300 times.  He was so happy! It was so cute! I'm so happy my little guy loves the snow like I do:)

How cute is she all bundled up!?

It was so nice to have time just to hang out:)

It was pretty chilly in the mornings before Grandpa would start the fire so Van had to eat his breakfast wrapped in his polk a dotties.

On the way over and the way back we stayed in a hotel half way.  We don't normally do that but with two kids we decided it would be a good idea.  I think it was the right choice.  I was pretty excited about taking Brielle swimming for the first time, mostly because she looked so completely adorable in her suit:) Van was also quite stoked.

We have so much to be thankful for!
