On the morning of the much anticipated 4th birthday, Van came out of his room to find this. He remembered the balloons from last year and had requested them again.
Brielle was just as excited as Van, she lit up when she saw all the balloons!
He got to request everything we ate and did that day. For breakfast he wanted french toast made by....
daddy!
While he was distracted by breakfast Brielle took the liberty to explore his new slide:)
Since it was raining and we couldn't do some of the activities we had planned we adjusted our itinerary and just let him open his presents first thing so we could play with this new toys all day. He LOVED that idea:)
The one thing he asked for was a gumball machine. He loved it!
He also loved his new chutes and ladders game. I have now played 20,452 games of chutes and ladders:)
Brielle was kind enough to give all of Van's new things the chew test.
Besides the gumball machine, the thing Van was most excited about was his cake. He told me months ago that for his cake he wanted round, green, and Mickey Mouse. Seemed easy enoughm(this was by far the easiest cake I've made him).
Voila........

I'm pretty sure he enjoyed himself on his big day. Happy birthday Van, we love you!!!
