Last Saturday we loaded our little car to the brim and headed to the coast for a full day of fun. We started the day with a hike. We tried a new trail that wound around a little lake and up through the surrounding forest. Van wanted to be the leader this time (there were lots of forks in the trail) and he did absolutely loved it!
At one point in the hike we were at the top of a hill and there was a gorgeous view of the coastline below. This picture doesn't really do it justice. It made the climb worth it!
