April 2015

We had spring break at the beginning of the month, starting with Easter weekend.  We spent our time in Idaho with family.  The first weekend we met my parents at Tyler and Brandee's house.  They live on the ranch where Tyler works and the kids had so much fun!

I really slacked on Easter this year.  We didn't dye eggs and we didn't do an easter egg hunt.  I did do baskets for them though and they didn't complain about the lack of other festivities:)

Brielle loved helping Aunt Brandee:)

Van loved having so much space to explore.

After the weekend we went to McCall.  It was a good time as usual:)

This big girl hasn't used a high chair for a long time but when we got to grandma and grandpa's house she asked for this one to be brought in for her to use.  She remembered it and really really wanted it.  It was actually the high chair my dad and his brother's used as babies and all four of us kids used it too.  It's so fun to have a 3rd generation using it!

Exploring Ponderosa State Park...

We went out to Kyle and Lindsay's house one day.  Our kids both love babies and were extra excited to see their cousin Skyler.

More random fun....

In the middle of the month the camera charger broke so we don't have any pictures:(

At the end of the month Van started soccer again. He is looking too grown up for my taste!!

After one game there was an injured bike rider next to the park and they landed a life flight helicopter on the field.  The man ended up being ok and the kids thought it was so cool!

In Van's kindergarten class they do a star student each week.  They go in alphabetical order so he had to wait until the very end of April for his turn. He made a poster which he got to present and talk about.  He also got to teach the kids something as well as bring in his favorite book.  All the other kids brought in the book for the teacher to read but he is such a good reader that he got to read it himself.  He did such a good job!  I can't even handle how much I love this kid!
