I always feel like I can't post if I don't have pictures but while I enjoy reading other peoples posts with pictures more I still like any kind of post over none at all so here goes. What we have been up to the last couple of weeks:
*We got to meet our new niece!! We crashed the Andelin family reunion in Pasco, WA (thanks to the Andelins and Ozakis for making us feel welcome!) and had a great time seeing Jason and Amy and their beautiful baby girl. They were very generous with her, we even got to babysit for a couple of hours one morning.
*We went to McCall for a few days to see my parents and their awesome new deck. We cramed a lot of fun into a couple of days. We went lake kayaking but sadly didn't see a moose like we have in the past. We went four wheeling in the mountains with my parents and my uncle Roger. We spent HOURS bushwacking on the side of a very steep mountain looking for an elusive lake laden down with fishing gear only to finally see it off in the distance once we were too exhausted to get to it (this is a long and funny story which I captured on video that I will try to post later). Brian got up wakeboarding for the first time and spent a good part of the day fishing on Payette lake and returning empty handed. Thanks Roger for bringing your boat! Even though we didn't catch a single fish we had a great time just hanging out with family and enjoying the beautiful scenery.
*Brian started Soccer practice this week and got some sweet gear that all the coaching staff got
*We mowed our lawn for the first time! YEAH!! It has been quite the struggle to revive our sad neglected lawn but all it needed was a little fertilizer, water, and time. It's looking better everyday.
*I finally made that strawberry jam I have been meaning to all summer and according to Brian it turned out great. He informed me this morning that this jam is one of his five favorite things in the world (I am number one on his list and I am not sure if I like being only four degrees away from jam!)
We do have pictures of most of these events but they are on our other computer which is having some issues right now. I will post them very soon!
