The month of June was heaven for one reason, Brian was home all month and we got to just hang out as a family most of the time. I really really love our little family and when we are all together we have the most fun! There was lots of family adventures as well as dance parties, reading parties, snuggling, movies on the wall, and fun projects. I am actually surprised how many things I didn't get pictures of.
One morning we hiked the Y before it got too hot. It's a more intense climb then I remembered but the kids did great:)
Doing the Y at the top, we made it!
Oh how I love this brown eyed ball of personality. Since she has been such a mommy's girl we have pretty much been besties the past two years and I love every second of it. She makes me happy every day!
What a view from the top!
We went to the "beach" by our house a couple of times. We need to go more now that it's getting really hot.
Van had his first taste of organized sports. He played Tee Ball and Brian got suckered into being the coach:) I just have to say, watching Tee Ball is hilarious! I didn't get to watch as much as I would have liked since Brielle always wanted to go pay on the nearby slides but it was still fun. Van struggled to stay on the field the first couple of games but by the last game he did great! He is growing up too fast!
Brielle continues to be such a girly girl, she loves accessories!
One Monday we went down to Provo for family night. The Bean Museum just reopend so we went there, to play at a park, and then to get ice cream at the BYU creamery. We got no complaints out of the kids:)
Our ward has weekly playdates. One week it was at Highland Splash pad. Van was in heaven with all the other little boys and Brielle fell in love with a boy from nursery, Griffin. They followed each other around for a good hour. The entire time they were either holding hands or he had his hand on the small of her back leading her around. It was so incredibly cute!!
The lovebirds:)
