Most of June we stayed close to home and tried to enjoy Utah in the summer before it get's too hot. Our one big trip was to Zion National Park. My parents came with us and we had so much fun!
Classic road trip...
We stopped outside of Cedar City on the way to hike to Kanarra Creek falls. We did this hike in April so we were excited to do it again.
It's such a new experience for us to do a hike where you are in the creek for most of the time and we all had lots of fun getting wet. Brian even turned Van upside down and dunked him!
After our hike we continued on to our campground. We camped right on the river just outside the park and it was a perfect spot for the kids.
In the morning Grandpa and the kids explored the water a little and found tons of tadpoles!
Our little book worm wouldn't take his nose of of the magic tree house book he was reading to look out the window at the amazing canyon:)
Faker! She pretended to be asleep for this picture.
Weeping rock...
When we weren't hiking (I think we did five hikes in four days) we were playing in the river at camp. The kids had a blast! Van made a new friend and they played every day together.
The Narrows...
such a cool hike!
Brielle is so funny!
Van loved the deep parts and always picked the deepest, wettest parts:)
The last morning we hiked up to this overlook. Zion Canyon is really a breathtaking place.
We packed a lot of fun into 4 days!
